Maybe we met before, but we migrated north following the familiar demographic route albeit with unfamiliar intentions during the last rain bowl and clustered in for what was to be the last session in the Color Lab, a temporary prankster hideout with the dregs of electronics and the rest of whoever happened to make it, and immediately proceeded stepping on each others toes in the precarious associationship of Dead Cinema--minus the excess baggage. That was back when Gib had a house--or before we helped get him kicked out--I'd crawl out of the van parked outside in the morning and bring coffee in through the window you could open from outside and sit around while Gib cracked open another imperialist Coke, before the evening came and the theorizing and plotting on how to get wine began, whose account to overdraw today, Italian dinners and conspiracies and forming a telltale paranoid aesthetic we would and have now inevitably just forgotten in piques of laughter. The other side of the jagged coin, you might not say. Now that we're flailing with less predictable shelter-- and Gib is half institutionalized in the poor house, we have made a batch of songs as the first collection in a three picture deal to serve as a roof over our heads, and possibly yours too. If you think maybe this is gonna go somewhere.--J Breeden, Portland, OR

"a vision to my ears... music for the eyes... you'll love it if you have that slightest bit of your imagination still itching to burst out.” –DRK, Pork Records

“ghostie vaudevillian mad-man music. Just my style…” –Charlotte Treuse, Rose City Shimmy

“Dead Cinema's natural delinquent chemistry is something that is missing from most rock bands these days. They are a breath of fresh chloroform to the fashion based ‘indie’ bands that are plaguing the world today.” –Dave Abramson, Diminished Men

“The thinking man’s Laurie Andersen.” –Lou Read
